    Thanks, you're the first person I've seen talk about this. I had been getting some killer results with DCTs and when my account rolled over to flex, they rejected the successful DCT ad, won't let me appeal or re-publish it, and when I try to create a new one, I get a 255 char limit error for primary text. I strongly suggest you create an addendum discussing this HUGE caveat - if you have winning ad copy, you'll have to severely truncate it to use flexible...so it is VERY different from DCT!

    ٍSO Every ad is actually a Dct ? ONE ad set with 3 ads ( eash ads have 3 creative ) ?

  • @GauchOG89
    @GauchOG89 11 годин тому

    The other issue i see is that if you had 3 assets (say 3 images) and you want to test hooks (statements) it will show all the asset variations on a carousel as a format option. The audience will then be able see all 3 assets that you're testing, noting that they are almost identical - there's no way to tell Fb not to use this format as it defeats the point of testing variables...

    • @JustinLalonde
      @JustinLalonde 10 годин тому

      Pinning this so people are aware. Yes, this does happen currently, and is f*cking things up. lol Long story short - Yes, your 3 creative assets would have to be looking somewhat different or else that carousel will look odd.

    Hey man if we create 3 ads with flexible ad, and if we still use 3:2:2 method, then 1 flexble ad will have 12 Variation and then if we add 3 ads with same format, it will be 36ads, in single ad set. Dont you think it will slow down the process of testing as obviously we can not control money on ad level and then how to make sure facebook spend equally. Your thoughts ? i think we can stick to 1 ad only in flexible ad

  • @markcollins6537

    Hey Justin. Why not run DCT for copy + headlines within each desire group? If you don't, couldn't you get misleading results from desire testing if the issue isn't desire, it's just your copy/headline might not be effective?

    Recently I made my new profile with all my correct details and my profile pic, after that I made some business pages and when 4 days back I funded my Ads manager account with 10000 INR, just after adding the money I submitted an Ad Boost, and just after that my account got disabled and it says, "We noticed some unusual activity, so we've disabled your ad account. Verify your account to run ads again." After a lot of Support Mails, Request Reviews and I even verified my Identity by uploading my PAN Number and Passport, Today my account got enabled. And then again I tried to boost an ad and then again my account got disabled and it is showing the same issue again. Same error that We noticed some unusual activity, so we've disabled your ad account. Verify your account to run ads again. But now I already verified my identity, it is showing green tick in the settings, what should I do to enable my disabled Ads account and to Run my ads peacefully in future?

    Justin great video love your content. Quick question regarding how many creatives I should put in a campaign with 3 DCTs, should there be 9 creatives or just 3? I have this confusion from a couple of videos ago and haven't been able to clarify it, thanks in advance :)

    • @JustinLalonde
      @JustinLalonde 2 дні тому

      When you turn on "Dynamic Creative" at the ad set level, it allows you to upload more than one creative to the same ad. So you technically only have ONE ad per DCT, but you will be uploading 3 creatives to it. So, answer here is "9 creatives" with "3 DCTs".

    Hi Justin. Let me see if I've got this right. My ideal CPA is say $20. I create a CBO with two dynamic adsets (each with 3:2:2). The correct budget for that would be $60 (3 x CPA) for the CBO? Or would it need to be $120 because there are two ads within the CBO? And then I'd wait three days and be looking/expecting the CBO to be around the $20 CPA mark, otherwise kill?

    • @JustinLalonde
      @JustinLalonde 3 дні тому

      In your case, budget would be $40 a day, and you'd let it run for 3 days, to have spent $120 and you then make a decision from there!

    • @blokeinthearches
      @blokeinthearches 2 дні тому

      @@JustinLalonde Thanks for that! Out of curiosity, could you get the same level of confidence after 24 hours if you spent $120, or is it a case of time duration > spend?

    • @JustinLalonde
      @JustinLalonde 2 дні тому

      @@blokeinthearches You'd still need time regardless of ad spend level. The first 48-72 hours after launching a new ad are always unstable - So no matter how much you spend on an ad, let it run for 2-3 days before making a decision as to whether to kill or scale it!

    Hey Justin, I absolutely love your content - quick question: I'm new to facebook ad creation and have a potential client. He sells one style of couch and makes $325 profit every sale. He's willing to spend $1000 per month on ads + my $500 service fee. How do I figure out breakeven KPI? and should ad spend increase?

    • @JustinLalonde
      @JustinLalonde 4 дні тому

      Excluding your fee, they can, in other words, afford to spend up to $325 per sale to breakeven. First, figure out their profit target. That may be, 10-20%. Assuming the above, you may, therefore spend up to $292 per purchase.... But, this also means, with their ad spend level, you may see, on the low end, 3-4 sales a month only. My advice always is to spend your CPA target daily. In this case, these guys should spend $300 a day or so minimum - Or, $9,000 a month. And if they can't, then you both have to understand, they may only get 1 sale or so a week, which will make optimizing a much longer process. But as long as expectations are aligned, that's cool too!

      Bare minimum $500, ideally + $1,000. You gotta communicate to this client that, especially for local businesses, the more they spend, the more leads they'll get and the better results will be. Or else you'll barely be able to afford creative testing.

I wasn't seeing results because of that. Now, I just run 1 adset with 2 ads at $10/day. After 3-4 days the winner gets the whole budget. Downside is there is no room for testing anymore.

      Of course that's possible! I don't believe that one niche is better than the other - You could run ads and make any niche work frankly. And as you say, one solar installation is a few 10s of 1000s of dollars. So, ad spend becomes more easily dilluted.

It'll be exchanged for a new "flexible ad format" which enables up to 10 imgs or vids, 5 titles, 5 texts, 5 cta's (as was possible with Dynamic Creative) BUT seems like we're loosing the ability to use breakdowns to see the best images, titles etc. Curious on your thouths on this.
